Cookies and Privacy Policy
What are cookies?
Cookies are text files that contain a small amount of information and are stored on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website.

How do we use cookies?
We use cookies to improve our website by personalizing your experience when you return to our website on the same device.

Can I disable cookies?
Our website itself does not currently have a way to opt-out of cookies. However, many browsers have an option to opt-out of cookies, so check your browser settings.

What other information does our website track?
At The Iris, we care about your privacy, so we want to be as transparent as possible about the data we collect from visitors. Our website was made using Wix, and Wix automatically tracks the location of a visitor, as well as the current page a visitor is on, and the amount of time a visitor has been on the site. Unfortunately, there is no way to disable the tracking of this data. Additionally, visitors may voluntarily submit a name and email address, however, a visitor must be 13 years old or older to do so. All information we collect is kept confidential: we do not share any of this data with third-party services (other than Wix).

Can I comment on articles?
Yes! Commenting on articles is encouraged. You must be 13 years old or older to comment on an article. While commenting is encouraged, we reserve the right to delete comments that we deem to be inappropriate, offensive, or spam.
